This week the students will continue their First Communion preparation. At this time, the students should be able to recognize the Introductory Rite, Penitential Rite and elements of the Liturgy of the Word at Mass. We have been reading parables and creating a timeline to support student learning.
First Communion Retreat is this coming Sunday, March 26th in the afternoon.

Being a Writer
This week we will spiral our instruction back around to narrative writing. The students will focus on story elements and how to write a story with an effective beginning, middle and end.
Science
Students will continue their study of matter. Students will focus on different features of solids, liquids and gases. New vocabulary words this week include mixture, reversible and irreversible changes.
