*Chapter Two: We Gather
*Review the four types of prayer: PATS (praising, asking, thanking, sorrow)
*Define "procession" and demonstrate in the classroom
*Listen to the story of the first Christians
*Identify actions of the first Christians
*Continue vocabulary dictionary

MATH
*Unit 6 continues
*Multiples of equal groups
*Arrays
*Possible assessment at the end of the week
*Time Tests continue ~ weekly practice
~Pre-test Monday; Post-test Friday (unless 98-100 on pretest)
~Goal is three seconds per problem

DAILY 5
*Mini-Lesson: Dictionary skills - ABC order and using guide words
*Daily 5 routines
*Guided Reading groups

SCIENCE
*Define what a habitat is and what an animal needs from its habitat
*Study six different habitats and their major features
*HABITATS REVIEW AND ASSESSMENT THIS WEEK!

WRITING
*Animal research
*Each student will research and gather information on one animal
*Information with be put into a two paragraph report with an illustration
*Independent practice using a topic sentence, 3-4 supporting details and an ending sentence
*Final drafts and covers this week!
*Practice handwriting, spelling, capital letters and ending punctuation
